WINE IS A MIXTURE

OF HUMOR AND LIGHT.

TRADITION

Here in the heart of the Saint-Emilion appellation of Bordeaux, known as the world capital of fine wine, our family works the land just like the generations of winemakers that came before us. Together we honor the winemaking tradition of Château Plaisance, founded in 1881, and the rich history of Bordeaux wine, which is woven into the rolling green hills and valleys that surround us. The first wines were cultivated here by the Romans. Much may have changed since then, but our dedication to the land and the vines remains the same.

IDENTITY

In the charming village of Saint-Emilion, named for an 8th-century monk whose following began wine production within the village, wine is still an important part of everyday life. Nestled on the slopes of this emerald region, with cobblestone streets, and charismatic cottages, we knew this village was the ideal place for our family to come and start working towards our dream of owning a vineyard in France.

EXPERIENCE

Sixty-eight years of Bordeaux wine history live within our vines at Château Plaisance. They give us the rich Merlots, sophisticated Cabernet Sauvignons and the powerful Cabernet Francs that enrich every bottle of Gran Cru we craft. Each one is the result of dedication to and respect for the land. Through our careful winemaking process, we express our love for the rolling hills and unique culture of our chosen home.
